Michigan

Michigan is a Midwestern state that borders four of the five Great Lakes. The state is made up of two peninsulas. The Lower Peninsula is shaped like a mitten, and the Upper Peninsula, or UP for short, is connected via the Straits of Mackinac. With all of that coastline and nearly 65,000 lakes and ponds, you better believe there’s a lot of boating in the Water Wonderland.
