Yes! You can add a place or event to as many itineraries as you'd like.

Why would you want to? Let's say you've got a favorite go-to spot you always share with out-of-town guests. You can create a new itinerary for each visitor and add the same location. Or maybe you're going to a festival on Saturday with one group of friends and on Sunday with another. You can create two separate itineraries, invite your friends to collaborate, and add the festival to each one. Include a custom date so you know when you'll be attending with each group!

Yes you can! There's no limit to the number of times you can add a place or an event to your itinerary.

Tip: create a different title for each time you add a place or event. This way you'll know (and so will anybody else on your itinerary) why it's on there more than once.

Plans change. To remove an item from your itinerary:

From the itinerary

  1. Find the itinerary item you'd like to remove and click on "remove"
  2. When it takes you to the confirmation page click on Delete

From the itinerary item

  1. If you're on the itinerary item itself click on Edit under the title
  2. Scroll down and click on Delete
  3. When it takes you to the confirmation page click on Delete

Your itinerary is automatically sorted alphabetically. However, you can change that so that all of those items are in the order you'd like.

There are two ways to sort your itinerary items:

  1. Drag & Drop: Simply grab the crosshairs to the left of your itinerary item and drag it. (This does not work for touchscreens.)
  2. Add a custom date: When you add or edit your itinerary item you can include the date(s) when you'll be visiting that particular place or attending that event. If you include a date your itinerary will be sorted chronologically. Coming soon: an itinerary calendar

You can add custom dates to your itinerary items by filling out the optional date form. Once you've added a date your itinerary will automatically be sorted chronologically.

  • If you don't know or want a specific time for your itinerary item select All Day.
  • Select Show End Date to add a date and time range to your itinerary stop.

For example, you can use this field to add your hotel stay and include the days you check-in and check-out. Or, you can put a specific time limit for a particular visit or event. It's up to you!

You can add people to your itinerary for a truly collaborative planning tool. Anyone you add to your itinerary will be able to add and remove items, edit them to include notes or change the dates, and sort the order.

To add someone to your itinerary:

  1. Visit the itinerary page
  2. Click on "Invite People"
  3. Enter the email address of the person you'd like to include. If you have multiple people you'd like to add separate the email addresses by commas. If you don't know the email address but know the user name click on "Add members"
  4. If you want the people you add to be able to add and remove people click on "administrator member"
  5. Click "Invite user(s)"

The invitee(s) will receive an email letting them know they've been approved for this itinerary.

Yep! Just visit the itinerary and click on "Manage People". You'll see a list of anyone you've added. Click on Remove to remove them.

Itineraries are private, so the only people who can see your itinerary are the people you invite to plan with you.
