Fortunately, I was able to visit Little Bighorn after 1991 so I experienced both sides of the tragic story, and not the white man version taught to me in elementary school. Unfortunately, my daughter was quite small when we visited (maybe four or five) and I had to balance my time between soaking it all in, doing my best to expose her to the opportunity without scaring her, and answering a LOT of questions (some of them quite tough as pre-schoolers are programmed to deliver). I appreciate your perspective and hope to have a chance to visit again soon. ~ Sage Scott, the Everyday Wanderer
