Election Day Sox Exchange
On Election Day, my running-mate (Soxman) and I composed a two-part plan for the United Sox of America. We've figured out what to do for staffing the Pitching cabinet in 2009

Martini Park: Some Nightclubs Never Grow Up
We've all heard about nightclubs like New York City's infamous Studio 54 with exclusive and unorthodox rules about who gets in and why. I've been to places in Hollywood and New York that won't admit a guy unless he's approaching the door with some girls in his group. But I had never heard about any Chicago club having sexist or otherwise discriminatory admittance policies. In these abysmal economic times, who would? After Homecoming Win, NU ranked #22 in BCS
You know it’s a big game for Northwestern when Ronnie Woo Woo is in the house. However, plenty of people with much more juice than Mr. Woo (or is it Mr. Woo Woo?) were at Ryan Field for Northwestern’s 48-26 Homecoming win over Purdue. Representatives from the Rose Bowl, as well as the Big Ten’s second and third place bowls (those games both possess corporate names) were on hand as well as NU Alum and Olympic Gold-Medalist Matt Grevers, who served as Homecoming Grand Marshal.

First Place Bears!
As our beloved monsters of the Midway head into the bye week with seven games down and nine to go, they are a very pleasant surprise. Chicago is in first place in the NFC North and the presumptive favorite to stay there after edging past their biggest division rivals, the Minnesota Vikings by a wildly unexpected 48-41 score today at Solder Field.

Bears' Tillman Discusses his Daughter's Medical Condition
On Friday afternoon, Bears cornerback Charles Tillman spoke candidly at Children's Memorial Hospital. The topic was the three trying months that he just spent watching his infant daughter, Tiana, battle a critical heart condition. “I heard that when life hands you disasters, and tragedy and bad things, it also hands you a gift of energy,” Tillman said at the beginning of his time at the podium.
