The Guild Literary Complex of Chicago launches the seventh year of its Palabra Pura bilingual poetry series—with a one poet/one poem event with the guest curators for the current 2012 season. In an evening of poetry and previews the curators will share some of their favorite bilingual poetry and their plans for their upcoming night in the monthly series. The event will include poetry in Spanish, English and a combination of both and take place at Palabra Pura’s home, Humboldt Park's La Bruquena restaurant, a favorite venue for literary events; admission is free. As always, audiences of all backgrounds and languages are welcome.
