Lyle Lovett and His Large Band play the Ravinia Pavilion for a summer evening concert outside. The singer-songwriter's wise, witty lyrics and blend of folk, country, blues and jazz have earned him widespread critical acclaim, four Grammy Awards and more than four million album sales. A native Texan, Lovett has been a roundly respected star since his self-titled 1986 debut LP, which spawned the singles "Farther Down the Line" and "Cowboy Man." His hits since then have included "Give Back My Heart," "If I Had a Boat," "Don't Touch My Hat" and a cover of the classic "Stand by Your Man."
