Chicago French Market Opens Today

The Local Tourist's picture

Commuters have a new shopping option on their way home from downtown Chicago. The Chicago French Market is a collection of vendors in the newly developed MetraMarket. It focuses on local farmers and artisans. Why "French" market? It's operated by the Bensidoun family, who've been running markets around Paris since 1953.
