Do you like comics? How about detective stories? How about stories that make references to pop culture? Well if you said yes to just one of these, you should check out P.I. Jane.
P.I. Jane is a webcomic written by Lauren Burke and Greg Sorkin and inked by Tony Maldonado. It's the story of Jane Day a young woman in her twenties who lives two lives. During the day she works at a temp agency but at night she puts on her Columbo jacket (Columbo who? Hey my mom use to love that show) and along with an overly active imagination she becomes P.I. Jane. To make it even more interesting she is one of an all female detective agency led by 'Peggy' who is a character herself that'll have you asking, who is she really?
Following Jane and her cast of daytime coworkers - Chad Lindelof (daddy owns the business and boss), Caroline Driscol (cougar on the prowl and you can always find her at happy hour), Heather Lai-Fizzerato (if only Jane could get away), and Quinn the IT guy - along with her nighttime adventures, you'll enjoy a cleverly written and awesomely sketched digital comic. A comic that has Jane mixing pop culture and often spilling over that nighttime gig hyper- imagination throughout the strip that'll have you joining in and becoming a fan.
The comic's tagline: P.I. JANE: SERIAL, BUT BY NO MEANS SERIOUS.
