Expo Chicago Adds Expo Art Week And It's Just Around The Corner
Last year Chicago debuted its first Expo Chicago (2012), an international exposition of contemporary and modern art and design. It was held at Navy Pier and its intent was to establish itself as a paramount international contemporary and modern art expo and it did exactly that. Well, what do you know, Expo Chicago (2013) it’s just around the corner. But wait...there’s more. In addition to the expo the organizers decided to add something extra, Expo Art Week.
Expo Chicago (2013) features leading galleries that attract top artists, curators and collectors who will start with the common goal of fostering ideas and conversation among the art community. Expo Art Week compliments this with a week long feature of Chicago’s art. In collaboration with galleries, theaters, restaurants, the city’s museums and others there will be performances, openings and special events that will start a two week fun filled art bonanza with a taste of Chicago’s culture as well as the expo’s dedication to looking forward and exploring new ideas aimed at the future of the art world.
So be sure to mark your calendars for:
