Have you ever wondered how it would read if someone put your life to poetry?
Pretty awesome idea right? Okay I can't take credit. It's a concept for a show created by the creative group Chicago Slam Works. On Wednesday Oct. 10th, 17th and 24th at 8:00 pm, Chicago Slam Works will feature a return of their show 'Two Sides' where storytellers and poets are paired to tell true life stories possibly in prose. There will be six stories turned into six performances where the storytellers will be sharing their lives on stage as the poets put them to poetic music.
Come out to the Raven Theater in Edgewater for a mixture of entertainment and catharsis revelation. Who knows maybe it'll be the spark that'll get you to put your life to poetry.
