The Chicago 48 Hour Film Project 2012 - Up for a challenge?

The Chicago 48 Hour Film Project is happening the weekend of July 27th which gives you budding filmmakers or wannabe filmmakers, however you want to classify yourself, the chance to get in on making a short film in only... 48 HOURS (picture the words flashing on screen and an echo when it's being said - Don't judge we're on a low budget here).

It is a first come first serve deal but there will be a waiting list. You never know, if they have a pooch like mine you may here "the dog ate my short film". It can happen. If there's enough interest they may be able to add more teams.

July 27th is the kickoff and July 29th is the drop off with both taking place at Firehouse Studios.

NOTE: To remain eligible films must be submitted no later than 7:30 pm on the 29th. Come on that's enough time, there are some people who need to be at work the next morning. Ok maybe that was on a personal note.

Anyway click on the link above to see what will be given to you on the 27th and to register. By the way there is a registration fee for regular registration and there's one for after regular registration (see how I avoided the word late).

Good luck and here's to seeing your work on the big screen
