For all you Horror film lovers, viewers and filmmakers a like, during the weekend of April 13-14, 2012 four horror communities have teamed up with a local theater to give you 

Chicago Fear Fest 2012.

Zombie Army Productions, Sinister Visions, Flashback Weekend and Horror Society have teamed up with Muvico Theaters Rosemont 18 (Rosemont, IL.) to present to you a lineup of independent horror films from around the world. The showcase will feature short and feature films along wth a discussion panel and Q & A's.

For you Horror filmmakers - THEY ARE ACCEPTING FILM SUBMISSIONS NOW! YES! Submit your film and be among the first "to establish Chicago as the 1st city of Horror!" There will be 3 winning categories:

Best Short 

Audience Favorite

The winning director from each category will be invited to the 10th annual Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention to be held August 10-12, 2012 also in Rosemont, IL. The directors will be presented as featured celebrity panelist. Fame awaits you.

This is just another example of doors opening in Chicago for the film community to show off it's talent and to establish a presence. Be sure to put it on your calendar and note there will be an after party at Bogart's located on the second floor of Muvico.
