1st Annual Forest Park Apple Pie Bake-Off - Win a Troy-Bilt Snow Blower
Here's something I've found out about just in time to put up before the weekend comes upon us thanks to @GardenForkTV.
Forest Park Community Garden is having a fundraiser and it's a BAKE-OFF, a apple pie bake-off to be exact. This is a great way to give to your community and to say hello to the autumn season (which happens to be my favorite time of year).
When: Sunday, October 21
Time: 2-5 PM

Forest Park, Illinois
Advance tickets: $25 Adults: Comes with 2 drink tickets, snacks, access to a silent auction/raffle and pie samples and
$5: Children under 15
At the auction you will have a chance to win a Troy-Bilt Snow Blower, Chicago Bulls tickets and more plus prizes and raffle items.
The bake-off is open to all amateur bakers and there will be a prize for the best overall pie. So be sure to join in and help the community to improve their local garden because:
