May 17 - 18 experience Chicago’s varied architecture with Great Chicago Places & Spaces. There are over 200 free tours, including boat tours, jogging tours, cultural tours, theater tours, neighborhood tours, trolley tours, and tours of the new Trump Tower and Spertus Institute.
This year advance registration is available online for some tours from April 29 - May 5. You can also register at the headquarters the day of the tour. These are first come first serve. There are also tours for kids. Registration is only available online. Registration is required and will be available from noon on April 30 until 5pm May 9.
All of the tours are free, but there’s a $3 convenience fee for online registration. You’re only allowed two tickets per tour, and two tours per day.
