Free Chicago Museums

I never thought I’d say this, but February is a good time to be in Chicago, at least this year anyway. Besides the Museum of Modern Ice in Millennium Park and it’s accompanying events (most of them free), this Friday through the 29th we get our first Restaurant Week.

Chicago’s museums are even taking part in the “free” for all. Both the Art Institute and the Field Museum are free all month. The Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium are free this week. Additional shows and exhibits are extra.
