Chicagoween

October’s in full swing, and that means so is Chicagoween.

In celebration of Halloween, Daley Plaza becomes a playground for ghosts, ghouls, and “Wicked” witches. Renamed Pumpkin Plaza, the community area becomes a haunted village. There’s pumpkin decorating, and members from “Wicked” will cast a spell as they read an earth-friendly story from their green tent. Perennial favorite Midnight Circus and Chicago band Liquid Soul perform, and the annual parade culminates in trick or treating for the kids.

Pumpkin Plaza Hours:
Mon - Wed 11am to 3pm, Thurs - Sun 11am to 8pm
Oct 31 11am to 8pm

Pumpkin Decorating:
Sat & Sun 11am to 2pm (or while supplies last), not available Oct 20

Midnight Circus:
Mon - Wed 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2pm
Thurs - Sun 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2pm, 5:3pm, 7pm

Liquid Soul:
Thurs - Sun 5:30pm, 7pm

Parade:
Oct 20, Noon
Starts at State & Randolph Streets
Ends at Pumpkin Plaza with trick or treating
