Are you like me when it comes to Valentine's Day? I am not a big fan of the holiday, as it is so over-commercialized. However, some of my favorite chefs are offering some unique options for the non-traditional celebration. I do not know about you, this list has me convinced that I need to make a reservation.

Endgrain
This Roscoe Village gem is offering an "Old Fashioned Love" three-course menu for $35 per person. There is an optional Old Fashioned cocktail pairing with each course for an additional $25. To make a reservation, call (773) 687-8191.

La Sirena Clandestina and The Butcher & Larder Collaboration
La Sirena Clandestina and The Butcher & Larder collaborate for empanadas, ensalada, beef parillada, postre and more. A Sunday Asado is offered on February 16 by reservations only, for $80 per person (tax and gratuity not included)..

Nightwood
My favorite neighborhood spot is offering a special Valentine's Day menu on February 13 and 14. The menu features delights such as cassoulet and Maine lobster stew. You can reserve either online or by calling (312) 526-3385.

Floriole Cafe & Bakery
If you have not experienced Pizza Night at Floriole, they will be offering a Pre-Fixe menu for two for $75 (tax and gratuity not included). The menu includes one bottle of wine, one starter, one pizza and one dessert to share (which is pretty delicious!). Reservations are required by calling the bakery at (773) 883-1313 or emailing cafe@floriole.com.
