This Weekend: Bash on Wabash
No need to lament the end of summer. It’s still August and fall in Chicago is pretty great. However, fall means the end of street festivals. Not to worry, there are a few before the weather cools. This weekend is Bash on Wabash, the 10th annual South Loop Street Festival.
Bash on Wabash features vendors, musical entertainment, a kids’ stage, sumo wrestling, food trucks, and the opportunity to spend your hard-earned cash on a very deserving charity, South Loop Community Church Food Pantry.
If you’re going to go to a street festival – and you should before the summer is over – stop by Bash on Wabash between 11am and 10pm on Wabash between 13th Street and 14th Place.
Live musical acts will perform between 1pm and 10pm on both Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25. Headliners are Truckfighters and Mr. Blotto, respectively. Both days are sure to be a good time.
Don’t let the summer pass you by without attending at least one street festival, attend Bash on Wabash.
