Free book reading and signing tonight!

Looking for something to do tonight? My friend Claire Bidwell Smith just published her first book — a memoir about living her life around the grief of losing both her parents to cancer — and it is breathtaking. It's called "The Rules of Inheritance." Claire is living in California now, but she has embarked on a mini-book tour in several cities throughout the U.S., which includes stops in the Chicago area. She'll be reading and signing books at 7:30 tonight at Andersonville's Women and Children First Bookstore. You'd be silly to miss the event and just plain stupid not to read the book.
