Spook-Tacular Skinny Social at Bull & Bear

It’s a Skinny Socials Halloween party at Bull & Bear and costumes are a must but I don’t need to tell you that! It’s going to be a night of howling and yowling and I’m sure this event is going to sell out so get your tickets ahead of time.

Okay, so I do have to tell you how I met the two girls who make up Skinny Socials. One of my co-worker stylists at Joseph Michael’s salon and Spa, Angela, was doing their hair and Alicia was doing their hair. They seemed kind of kewl so I introduced myself, in my own way: “Who the f*** are you two and what’s your dealio and why is everyone fussin’ over you?”  (They passed the test. If they didn’t freak out or get intimidated—I liked them)  Karen Rzesutko Bobos told me she was a Chicago fitness girl with a posse of health gurus and dieticians at her disposal.  And so she does media blogs and web and TV spot centering around fun and fitness.  Her company is Skinny Socials. Agh. I had heard of them which upped their kewl quotient--in my mind.  I liked Karen and her partner, Lindsay Stroman Brock, so after I went home I dug a little deeper online.  Skinny Socials is truly a health and fitness minded company and the two stars of the company know what’s in and what up in Chicago and they throw very cool parties with signature “certified” meals and drinks centered in low-cal or low carb or healthy minded recipes.  Original, right?

They were also so sweet to feature us in one of their blogs and they even did a video plug for Joseph Michael’s Salon & Spa which I included below.
