Roscoe Village Burger Fest: My Burger Pick!

There’s drink and entertainment at the Roscoe Village Burger Fest and, of course, BURGERS!  If you are a burger guy like me, this is the place to be and I’m thrilled that some of the best beef will be available at the fest. Just look for the Goose Island Burger and Black Earth Burger stand.  Black Earth Meats is a classic meat locker, with on-site slaughter available for beef, pork, sheep and goats.  They are part of Red Meat Market, a direct to consumer beef sellers, and they offer dry-aging for steers, and basic cut-wrap-freeze processing.  Black Earth Meats are certified from the Iowa Department of Agriculture, and are Animal Welfare Approved.

I’m a green guy so I love that Black Earth Meats animals are purchased locally from farmers whom they personally know. That's why I'll Steer you right! These farmers have the highest standards for humane treatment and overall quality so I know I’m getting quality and I can sleep at night.
