Last summer my friend Karen invited us to go canoeing down the Fox River. David and I took our dogs, Olive (labrodoodle) and Junebug (yorkie), and we had the best day. We packed a lunch and drinks and made full day of it on the six mile but this summer we are going to go on the 12 mile; and we’re taking some more of our friends!

Check out our little home-video. It was so serine and fun and we hardly saw another soul on the river.

The price is only $50 per canoe and the river is safe with narry a dangerous rapid or shallow.

Ayers landing, located near Wedron, Illinois, on the Fox River,
is one of the finest canoeing sites in the midwest. Owned and
operated by Bill Bickett, Ayers Landing offers you the perfect
setting for a day of fun and relaxation.
