Around Chicago Live is at Jilly's

I’m a great “networking” guy, but I’ve been around Chicago a long time so I can march into almost any gathering and be chill. Even if I don’t know anyone, I’m never shy or worry that I might not have a good time.

If you are a people-person, or if you’re more the one-on-one conversationalist, I’m going to recommend a very nice event to hang out at where you’ll also meet a mix of people who are just like yourself. The soiree is called “Around ChicagoLive ” and this Tuesday it’s at Jilly’s in the Gold Coast. Jilly's is always a hoot and the windows are open to the street and there's service on the sidewalk.

Nicole Price is the city-gal party thrower and her events are so nice because she’s nice. And she has so many friends, like me, who just love her because she’s in-the-know and yet loves people and makes them feel like they are special; so her parties are wonderful.

I hate to call Around Chicago Live simply a networking event, but yes, you will probably pass out your business cards to potential clients, BUT firstly, mostly, funly, it’s a gathering of peeps at fun places where you mix and mingle and hang out with the kinds of people who are lovely to be with. I’ve been to several events and they all include people in law, real estate, banking, sales, events, hospitality, meeting planning, restaurants, catering, hotels, public relations, transportation, not-for-profit, arts, marketing, museums, human resources, the chambers of commerce and the convention bureau.
