Vie Custom Fitness Offers Free Classes For The Month Of December

In need of jumpstarting your workout? The month of December is the perfect time as Vie Custom Fitness in Lincoln Park is offering all of their classes for free. Yes, for free. You just have to bring a healthy, non-perishable food item for every class you take. All donations will be given to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Every non-perishable food item you bring will get you into one of the following classes:

Moxie Boxing

Former Golden Gloves champion Jihad Baker teaches beginner and intermediate level students the fundamentals of boxing using heavy bags, focus mitts and good old fashioned conditioning. The class is open to men and women on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00pm – 6:50pm. Gloves are provided. Hand wraps required.

C’est la Plié

Celebrity fitness trainer Andrea Metcalf's workouts combine ballet, Pilates and yoga for the "ultimate barre class" in Chicago. Women of all levels can work on their flexibility and toning their bodies Monday – Thursday mornings at various times. Straps and mats are required.

Kettle Bell Bootcamp

Jeremy Rewey's classes help sculpt and tone by way of kettle bells, bodyweight exercises and military-style calisthenics. Men and women of all levels are welcome from 6:00am – 6:50am Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

SuppleMENTAL Yoga

Jennifer Diamond's classes work on core strengthening, flexibility, focus and relaxation. Classes are available to beginner and intermediate level men and women Wednesdays from 12:10pm – 1:00pm and Fridays from 4:00pm – 4:50pm. Straps and mats are required.

Vie Custom Fitness is located at 1750 N. Kingsbury in Lincoln Park, accessible from the North/Clybourn Red Line stop and Armitage Brown Line stop. Equipment required for all classes are available for purchase or rent.
