It's Friday, and you know that means? We tell you where to go all weekend long!

Tonight check out TLT's very own Mafia Hairdresser at The Playground Theater. Each Friday the improv group acts out someone's life based on their tweets, and tonight they've chosen Jon-David as their next victim, er, subject. It's BYOB, so grab a bottle and learn all about a guy who's worked for the mob and lived to tweet about it.

Head up to the northwest side of Chicago on Saturday for a sticky situation you'll want to be in. The Maple Syrup Festival at the North Park Village Center will teach you and your kids the whole maple syrup-making process, and there will also be storytelling, live music, and crafts.

Looking to adorn your walls with a piece of history? The Chicago Cultural Center is hosting the International Vintage Poster Fair all weekend, so you can pick up a piece of history. Vendors are from all over the world, including Switzerland, France, and China.

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but songs can sing a thousand stories. Sunday night Davenport's Piano Bar and Cabaret brings you great story songs from the 1990s to today, and if you sign up with GoldStar tickets are half-price.

Today's Taste of TLT is brought to you by GoldStar. Get half-price tickets to concerts, theater, sporting events, and more, just by giving them your email address. Sign up for free at bit.ly/tltgs

Here's an event that makes altruism feel slightly selfish: this Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 The Publican is hosting its quarterly food drive for the Chicago Food Depository. Bring canned and non-perishable food items and they'll reward you with appetizers from their restaurant and from Hannah's Bretzle and with Three Floyds Beer.

Saturday night's the night the lights went out - everywhere! Earth Hour returns for its fourth year, encouraging people and businesses all over the world to turn off the lights for just one hour. From 8:30 to 9:30pm Chicago will go dark, and many restaurants are offering special candlelit dinners in honor of the event.

Have a great weekend!
