Taste of TLT - March 7, 2012

Get lucky today in Bucktown - at Club Lucky! It's the first Wednesday of the month, so they're inviting you in for their Martini Party. Stoli Martinis are just $6. Since happy hours aren't allowed in Chicago, you can start celebrating at 11am if you want to. 
 
Hey Fashionistas: tonight's the 5th Annual Future of Chicago Fashion event. This year's theme is street style, and you'll get to see designs by ten local fashion students competing to win a scholarship. In a Chicago twist, their styles are meant to represent a neighborhood. Tickets are $35 and the evening begins at 6pm.
 
The beers of Lagunitas are being showcased tonight at Red Canary in a five-course dinner. A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' will be paired with seared dayboat scallop, and Censored accompanies Peppercorn Crusted Ribeye Au Jus. Tickets are $45 and the brewery's Midwest sales rep will be on hand to share her knowledge.
 
Gentlemen, are you over six feet and looking for love? Then sign up for the Tall Men Speed Dating event. It's already filled with ladies; now they just need a few tall guys. We'll let you know if they host an event for guys *under* six feet...
