Teens and poetry may not always seem to go hand in hand, but they do at the Louder Than A Bomb festival. This is the 12th year for the friendly competition and semi-final bouts start today at 11am. Come by the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater and support these kids who are turning their experiences into something bigger. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for all students.
 
Enjoy a Late Winter Celebration of Branko Wines at Quartino tonight. You'll enjoy wines and cuisine from the Friulian region of Italy. This is the northeastern part of the country, and if tonight's menu is any indication, it's worth a visit. The antipasti is lobster, crab, oysters, clams and mussels, and that's just the beginning of the meal! Tickets are $65 per person and include tax and gratuity.
 
III Forks continues their monthly wine tastings with Terlato. This free event includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres paired with wines. Stay after and get your favorite wine for half price.
 
Yesterday Chicago celebrated its 175th birthday. Today you can visit one of Chicago's most historic attractions for free. The Museum of Science & Industry was one of the original buildings in the 1893 Columbian Exposition, and their doors are open for Illinois residents today at no charge.
