Zip on over to Bull & Bear for March Madness Zipster-style. Zipcar auto sharing members will receive a free drink and appetizers, and if you bring a friend who signs up you'll get a $50 driving credit. You don't have to be a card-carrying member to attend though, and they'll be offering prizes to everyone who attends.
Learn all about hometown brewery Goose Island at Timothy O'Toole's. You'll get to taste a whole bunch of brews at Goose Island 101, and there will even be appetizers and souvenirs!
Ad: Today's Taste of TLT is brought to you by Chef's Table. This month we're visiting Chicago's hottest new spot for tapas on March 28. Get your seat at La Taberna Tapas for only $25. For more information, visit thelocaltourist.com/chefstable
You wouldn't think a bunch of kids would know much about the blues, but Jamiah "On Fire" & The Red Machine want to make you think differently. The 15, 11 and 9 year-olds will be at Hard Rock Cafe tonight headlining a night of local acts.
Tonight March Madness is about more than basketball and beer; it's also about helping Chicago's at-risk youth. Go to Hoops For Youth at Joe's on Weed and you'll be assisting the programs at Youth Guidance, and organization that supports the 14,000 kids in this city who need help.
Have a great day!
Music: The awesome intro and outro music is from Chicago singer/songwriter David Kav
