Taste of TLT - July 7, 2011

Earlier this week a bunch of food trucks gathered in Lincoln Park. Tonight, and every Thursday night through the summer, you can find more at the new Ethyl's Beer & Wine Dive. The spot just opened in the former Stanley's On Racine location and they're putting that parking lot to good use. Around 7 trucks will fill the space and Goose Island will be pairing beers.

Being Smart is Sexy - just ask the Aparecio Foundation. They're kicking off this new fundraising series tonight at Public House. Teams of philanthropists will compete to raise money for the foundation. Tonight's event offers complimentary drinks and appetizers from 5 to 7pm, and a chance to win a Smart Car or a 50" Plasma Smart TV.

Get your art fix this evening at the Pop Up Art Loop Gallery Walk, a free event that invites you to visit galleries in the Loop. In addition to enjoying the art and the free wine and entertainment at the various venues, this is a great opportunity to check out Go Do Good presented by the Chicago Photography Collective. The gallery showcases photos of how people are doing good in their communities.

Chicago's "cheekiest" website is hosting an event with Seven Daughters wine, Master Sommelier Alpana Singh, and Top Chef finalist Radhika Desai. Cheeky Chicago has selected seven women to represent the colors in the wine's logo and is inviting ladies and gents to visit Suite 7D at The Aeree Loft on west Fulton Market.
