Taste of TLT - January 3, 2012
Koval was the first Chicago distillery to provide the Windy City with some fine hooch since Prohibition. Learn about this groundbreaking company and sample their spirits at tonight's Big Ooga event. In addition to mixing and mingling there will be group breakout sessions. One lucky person will win a handcrafted bracelet by jewelry designer Sue Rosengard. Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the door.
Decorate your place like a French bistro. Cyrano's Bistrot is changing concepts, transforming from a bistro and wine bar into a farm kitchen. As part of this transition they're selling all of their posters and fine art. Stop in today from 10am to 8pm and tomorrow from 10am until 2pm and pick up your favorites. Following true French hospitality, complimentary wine will be served.
You don't have to wait for Restaurant Week to save money on dining out. D'Noche offers a 3-course dinner on Tuesdays for just $18.95 and Kinzie Chophouse has a prix fixe menu every night of the week for $27.95.
Create your own multi-course meal with Fleming's 5 for $6 'Til 7. The steakhouse features five wines, five cocktails, and five appetizers for just six dollars, and they're available in the bar until 7pm. TLT favorites include the roasted mushroom ravioli and the wicked cajun barbecue shrimp.
Have a great day!
