Koval continues their food truck pop-up events tonight with DucknRoll Food Truck & Catering. Take a tour, with tastings, of the distillery, then enjoy food like a duck gumbo and miso short rib banh mi combo and grilled smoked gouda cheese banh mi with cranberry orange relish. Tickets for the tour are $10 and the food is ala carte.
Head north to Glenview tonight for a "Nip and a Pint". Glenview House is serving a dinner that will make both beer and whisky lovers happy. For example, you'll have Coca Cola fried Amish chicken wings paired with New Holland Cabin Fever and Templeton Rye - and that's just the first course! The four-course meal is just $60 including tax and gratuity.
For the seventh year La Bruquena restaurant is hosting the Palabra Pura poetry series. Guest curators will share their favorite bilingual poetry at the Humboldt Park restaurant, which is a popular venue for authors and fans of literature. Admission is free.
