If you've got teens or tweens it can sometimes be difficult to figure out what to do. Melisa Wells to the rescue. You can meet her and get a copy of her book, "Chicken In The Car And The Car Won't Go: Nearly 200 Ways To Enjoy Chicagoland With Teens And Tweens" this weekend. She'll be at Elevenzees Saturday at noon with cupcakes, Garretts Popcorn, and live music.
 
Meet another author at the brand new National Hellenic Museum. Olympia Filippeli will read from her book "Around the World in 32 Teeth", a tale of a young boy and the loss of his first tooth. There will also be crafts and activities. Admission to the museum is $10 for adults and $7 for children and the reading is $5 extra. 
 
What kid doesn't love dinosaurs? Immerse yourself in their prehistoric world at "Discover The Dinosaurs" at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. There will be over 60 replicas of the extinct creatures, plus rides, mini-golf, and facepainting. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.
 
Check out new music with the Tomorrow Never Knows Festival. New and upcoming indie acts will be performing at founding venues Lincoln Hall and Schubas, with additional performances at Metro and The Hideout. There are shows each night through the weekend.
 
RhinoFest is the longest running multi-arts fringe festival in Chicago. Their longevity is due in part to the diverse and talented group of artists participating, and because each program is hand-selected instead of being chosen by lottery. Tickets are $12 online. If you don't get them in advance, they're $15 or pay-what-you-can at the door.
