Taste of TLT - February 8, 2012
WBEZ believes there are "So Many Ways To Tell A Story", and they want you to help them. Join them at the Chicago Children's Museum. You'll all craft a tale, and then movement and sound artists will join forces with actors to perform it live. Tickets are $10 general admission or $8 for WBEZ and museum members.
Cirque du Soleil is telling a story at Sears Centre. Quidam is the tale of Young Zoe as she seeks to find meaning in her life. The show premiered in Montreal in 1996 and has been touring the world ever since. Now it's finally found its way to Chicago, but for this week only.
Valentine's Day is next week! If you're looking for that special someone, you just might find the one at the 10th Annual Cupid Party. There will be drink specials and appetizers, a raffle, and a coupon for half-priced appetizers on your next visit. If nothing else, since the event is at Sheffield's you know you'll find some great beer.
Speaking of beer, tonight Lady Gregory is hosting a six course dinner paired with special brews. Hosted by Wetten Importers, the selections include Lucifer paired with Spiced Sweet Potato Bisque and cranberry marshmallow, and Urbock 23 served with Belgian Chocolate Truffles and strawberry salad. Dinner is $60 and each guest receives two complimentary beer glasses.
