Party Like The Mayans Had It Right

Those Mayans may have predicted that the world's going to end on December 21, but this is Chicago! We're not going to let a little thing like the Apocalypse stop us from having a good time. Instead, we party like it's 12/21/2012.

Jon PardiEnd Of The World "Pardi"

If this is the end of the line, then Country singer Jon Pardi wants you to "get your drinkin' on" at Joe's on Weed. Tickets are just $10 for this boot stompin' beer drinkin' hell raisin' - wait, maybe I shouldn't say that last part...

End Of The World Dance Party

Talib Kweli says that hip hop saved his life, so what better way to say goodbye than with a dance party. He'll have his full band with him at The Mid, plus there's a wildly-appropriate-for-an-end-of-the-world party Soul Battle.

Party Til The World Ends

Making sure you get your party's worth, Kit Kat Lounge is holding their party on December 20. This gives you a whole additional day to cross things off your bucket list before the world goes up in flames, like celebrating with gorgeous divas and drinking half-priced martinis. See what that last day will be like with tarot card reader Therese Murphy. (Bets on how many times you hear "I Will Survive".)

Earth's Last Stand

This is the poobah granddaddy of 12/21 celebrations! There will be zombies and aliens helping you party while Steel Panther rocks on stage at the House of Blues. Always wanted a tattoo but worried about changing your mind later? It's the end of the world, baby! Get one for free and have no regrets. There will be tarot card readers, fortune tellers, and palm readers so you can find out what the afterlife is really like. And if you're really, really certain the world is going to end, you can confess your sins via live streaming media. They've got several levels - literally - of tickets, starting with partying with the zombies on the floor up to stowing away in the Bunker Box, a.k.a. those famous Opera Boxes.
