Getting around Chicago can be expensive, unless you have a bike. Then it's free. But what if you don't have a bike? Enter the Chicago Bike Swap. While you won't be able to pick up any two-wheeled transportation for free, you will be able to find that bicycle built for you for less than you'd spend at a retail store. There will be several of those present and offering deals, as well as individuals and nonprofits looking to trade wheels. While you're there you can participate in bike-themed games, see demos and presentations, and save on registration for Bike The Drive and the Four Star Bike Tour.

Admission is $5 for Active Transportation Alliance members and $10 for non-members. If you've got a bike to swap it's $5 to add it to the sale.
