If you've ever been to Soldier Field you know one thing for sure - it ain't easy to get to. Parking is limited and expensive, and public transportation is limited and pretty crowded. However, some Chicago bars have come to your rescue to get you to and from Chicago Bears games with a minimum of hassle and a maximum of fun!
O'Neil's On Wells, 411 S Wells St
Meet here up to three hours before the game for their tailgate party, then take a free shuttle to the game.
Cactus Bar & Grill, 404 S Wells St
Just across the street from O'Neil's this Loop bar provides a free shuttle back and forth throughout the game. You can even park at a nearby garage (326 S Wells) for free if you spend $25 at the bar. If you don't have a ticket you can watch the game there while munching on $5 burgers and fries and drinking your fill with $5 Bloody Marys and $5 20oz Stadium Drafts.
Mother Hubbards, 5 W Hubbard St
The bus depart this sports bar every 10 minutes, which is just enough time for just one more beer. They start leaving two hours before the game and take you right to the gate, and the bus is only $2 each way.
Rocky's, 234 W 31st St
Bears fans on the south side will appreciate this shuttle. It's free from the Bridgeport bar that's just 3 blocks north of U.S. Cellular Field.
Timothy O'Toole's, 622 N Fairbanks
For $10 Chicago Bears ticket holders can take the Miller Lite Monsters of the Midway bus from this Streeterville bar and back. Since it's the "Miller Lite" bus you might think there would be beers on the way, and you'd be right! The bus leaves an hour and 15 minutes before the game. The bar is also offering a bottomless mimosa bar for $16 and a bottomless bloody mary buffet for $20, which could come in handy for either celebrating or forgetting those afternoon games.
