Batter Up at Texas de Brazil

You may never be served a pitch by a Major League Baseball player, but you can be served dinner! The Chicago White Sox players' wives are hosting their annual White Sox Celebrity Server Event at Texas de Brazil and their husbands will be serving.

Guests will enjoy a tasting menu and caiprinhas served by the boys from Bridgeport. The event's July 5 and tickets are $125.

In my serving days I waited on Pierzynski and Konerko and their wives right after they won the World Series. They were gracious and humble as guests; I imagine they'll be the same as servers!
