Introducing: Katie Sirles

Greetings, Chicago! My name is Katie and I'll be your blogger. My favorite thing to do in Chicago is duck into a movie theater and see a couple movies. I've been to just about every theater in Chicago. The Music Box, The Gene Siskel Film Center, Piper's Alley, Century Centre... you name it, I've been there. My favorite theater has got to be the one I've developed a real relationship with. The AMC River East 21. Not only is the walk over there from my West Loop home beautiful, but there's nothing quite like walking out of a dark theater to the incredible city all around me.

I was born in Chicago, moved away for a bit, but as they saying goes, they always come back. I moved back to the city nearly four years ago. I've lived in the South Loop, Printer's Row, Lakeview, Edgewater, and now the West Loops. There's something so alluring about Chicago that makes you come back over and over and never want to leave. 

There is always something happening. You've got the tourists and the locals coming together in a giant, hodge-podgy mob. The smells of all of the restaurants. The constant clanking of the el passing by. Men banging on buckets filling the loop with a rhythm you can't ignore. Chicago is a city with a lot to love. My favorite city and my favorite hobby together in one magnificent place is all a girl can really ask for.
