Last Minute New Year’s Eve Parties

You procrastinated with your NYE plans and now you’re freaking out. December 31st is here, Australia is already in 2014, and you don’t know where to go, what to do or who still has tickets available.

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!!

 

Less than $100

DryHop Brewers (10pm-2am)

Give package deals and cover charges the middle finger and join the city’s hottest craft beer company for a chill night out. After cask-conditioning their Chicago Common Cream Ale, on champagne yeast, pomegranates and ginger, Batch 2014 is an exclusive brew that they will only be serving from 10pm-2am.

Cost: You decide – kind of. (Approximately $30-45 for dinner and a few beers)

 

Three Dots and a Dash (9pm-2am)

The next best thing to celebrating in the Cayman Islands, ring in the new year with topical drinks, passed apps and a special souvenir Golden Bamboo tiki mug.

Cost:  $45 for individual tickets or $1,500 of a private space with drinks and tiki mugs for 20 people (Click here for tickets)

 

Sedgwick’s Bar & Grill (8pm-1am)

Just south of the Lincoln Park madness, Sedgwick’s is hosting a solid no frills night out for $50. Offering microbrews, draft beer, you call it drinks and a dinner buffet, this is the best bang for your buck you’ll find in Lincoln Park

Headquarters Beercade (8pm-1am)

Prove that you were the pinball wizard of 2013 as you play your favorite retro arcade games and make your way through one of the best craft beer lists in the city.

Cost: $70 (Click here for tickets)

 

More than $100

Rockit Bar & Grill in River North (8pm-1:30am)

Rockit always throws a good party and surprisingly, there are still a few tickets left for this year’s NYE bash. The basic package includes a dinner buffet, passed apps, a semi-premium bar (at least one premium liquor per category), midnight toast and Red Bull.

Untitled (8pm-2am)

Behind the large unmarked doors at 111 W. Kenzie, lies a night of burlesque, music, theater acts and a sexy circus. Inspired by Fritz Lang's film, "Metropolis,” the evening also includes open bar and passed apps.

Bonus: Dinner

Fogo de Chao (5pm-10pm)

Before you tear up the dance floor, line your stomach with delicious meats, Brazilian sides and seasonal cocktails. With dinner service starting at 5:00pm, and a night of open bar ahead of you, eating a solid meal before you go out is a no brainer!

New Year’s Eve: Revolution by Redmoon

This new festive event combines imagination, whimsy and visual splendor with Redmoon’s inventive service devices like “Wine Bikes,” “Table Ladies” and new hot air balloon-suspended “Truffle Servers.”

 

Ignite the Night by The Numbered Days

Popping-up in a West Loop glass blowing venue, the trendy underground party is rocking up-and-coming DJ’s Clash Gordon and Menon, a 3,000 sq. ft. heated rooftop deck with fire places for a make your own s’mores station and a portion of the proceeds are going to the local non-profit Glassworks.
