Eat Well, Do Good at DIFFA Chef's Table
For the last couple of years, one of the most highly anticipated foodie events of the summer has been DIFFA's Chef's Table event, in collaboration with Jenn-Air and Chicago Social (CS) magazine, which will launch its annual July restaurant issue at the event. Chef's Table supports DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS)-- and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the foundation.
The Chef's Table will again take place on the rooftop of the Whirlpool/Reid Murdoch Building, and will be a sublimely delectable evening featuring the tastes of some of Chicago's hottest chefs and restaurants:
· Jared Van Camp of Nellcôte
· Celeste Campise of Spiaggia
· Jim Kilberg of Coco Pazzo
· James O’Donnell of Michael Jordan’s Steak House
· Chris Pandel of The Bristol and Balena
· Kevin Hickey of Allium
· Ashlee Aubin of Wood
· John des Rosiers of Inovasi
`Phil Rubino of Moderno
Not only will the food be good, but the wines and cocktails will be equally amazing. Adam Seger, our resident celebrity mixologist, will serve delicious seasonal cocktails featuring his Hum liqueur, alongside Moet & Chandon's Imperial Ice, a wine specifically created to be enjoyed with ice cubes. But tickets are going fast; go here to purchase tix for the imminent and rapidly approaching June 28 Chef's Table. Note: the tickets are $100 cheaper than they were last year, but features the same caliber of chefs.
DIFFA is a non-profit grant making foundation that distributes funds to Chicago area HIV/AIDS service agencies that provide direct service, preventative education and outreach to people who are HIV positive, living with AIDS or at risk for infection, and has distributed more than $38 million to HIV/AIDS-related organizations.
