Get your laugh on at the new Zanies Comedy Club in Rosemont!
Their grand opening celebration was last Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony along with free admission to their shows on July 6 and 7 with Chicago All-Stars Larry Reeb, Dobie Maxwell and Pat McGann.
Comedians Reeb, Maxwell and McGann had me cracking up, but before they graced the stage, a handful of many other talented performers took their comedy chops to the mic. Those comedians were Vince Maranto, Patti Vasquez, Azhar Usman, Jeanie Doogan and Sally Edwards.
This venue is in the MB Financial Park at Rosemont and is completely new and completely chic with a state-of-the-art sound system and can comfortably seat up to 250 people. The front row literally lines up to the beginning of the stage and the farthest seat is 35 feet back. They even have a live audio feed of what's happening on stage in the restrooms, so you won't miss anything.
Zanies in Rosemont hosts shows four days a week every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and their box office is open Monday through Saturday. Parking is available in the attached garage and Zanies will validate parking for a reduced parking rate. You must be 21+ to enter with valid photo ID and there is a two item minimum purchase per person whether it be food and/or beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
Upcoming comedians performing at their Rosemont location will be Mike Toomey July 11-14, John Pinette and Jay Pharoah July 20-21 and Steve Rannazzisi July 27-28.
