Good Vibrations at Viper Alley
Feel the atmosphere of the city in the northern suburb of Lincolnshire at Viper Alley. This venue is a charm and is perfect for those who can't always make it downtown or those downtown wanting a night away from the city.
Viper Alley opened two years ago and is an amazing music venue that even boats a six-lane boutique bowling alley. It is located on Milwaukee Avenue and Aptakisic Road by Regal Cinemas... and an added bonus - FREE parking!
National recording artists to local acts of all genres grace the stage at Viper Alley. Previous musicians that have performed at the venue include American Idol winner, Lee DeWyze, Tonic (pictured left), NKOTB singer Jordan Knight, Vanilla Ice (pictured below) and Lisa Loeb (pictured above).
Chicago land bands Trippin Billies, 7th Heaven and Mellencougar have rocked here as well.
Don't worry if you have to go to the bar to get a drink, there are HDTVs surrounding the building with a live feed of what's happening on stage.
Aside from music and bowling, there are a variety of indulgent drinks and savory treats. From the bar, you can sip a sweet cosmopolitan (my favorite), down a draft or bottled beer or welcome white or red wine to your taste buds.
Their food is delectable and diverse and you can savor Angus sliders, crisp salads, brick oven pizzas and more. Their four cheese pizza is perfect in my opinion. Oh, and you definitely don't want to forget dessert where you can choose from sorbet or molten chocolate cake.
Viper Alley is available for all of your party needs. They rent out the venue for private events almost every night of the week.
The creator of Viper Alley, Scott Greenberg, also owns my favorite hotel, theWit, in Chicago.
