First Friday! See a Celebration of the Arts Tonight in WP!

On the First Friday of each month the Wicker Park/Bucktown area comes alive with a unique celebration of the arts. It’s a neighborhood pARTy and everyone is invited!

Start your evening at the historic Flat Iron Arts Building where you can explore two floors of art displayed in the intimate setting of over four-dozen resident artists’ studios and living spaces. Also on hand will be a selection of guest artists exhibiting in the building’s common areas, as well as impromptu performances throughout the evening. Many studios offer refreshments.

In addition, special guest artists will be featured in the newly opened FIAA Gallery and Cultural Center on the second floor. Here you can also pick up literature and special offers from WPB businesses participating in the First Friday events.

Of course, the neighborhood is expecting you, so feel free to venture forth on your own and enjoy the boundless shopping, dining and nightlife opportunities our vibrant community has to offer.

It’s impossible to see it all in just one visit, but don’t worry, we do this every month!
