So every New Year's Day, we take the family out for Reza's (5255 N Clark St) buffet special in Andersonville. It's by far the best meal around for big celebrations.

Choose from a variety of Persian/Middle Eastern goodness ranging from hummus to baba gannouj to dill rice to their oh so famous thick potato slices drenched in garlic butter sauce.

They have kabobs ranging from chicken, to lamb, to beef. Persian salad and falafel round out this foodie tour.

This family outing every year for New Year's Day was by accident. Since it is our third year in a row doing this, it is now considered a family tradition.

So if you are celebrating something big, this is the place to be. It's a warm atmosphere and spacious, and in a cute neighborhood. Check it out!
