Finally, summer is here. I think of summer officially arriving in Chicago when we have at least hit 70 degrees for the low at night, 80 degrees during the day. That's why I stopped by Moody's Pub (5910 N Broadway St.) with the hubs for drinks at their luscious outdoor beer garden patio. It's the perfect setting for spending warm summer nights outdoors.

The hustle and bustle of the city fades away when you hang out here, as the place is surrounded by many trees, giving you a truly serene feel as you sip on summer drinks and order food, a true retreat that helps melt the stressors of the day.

Their food selection is pretty limited but the burgers have gotten rave reviews. They don't have a huge selection of spirits; you truly come to relax with friends and loved ones. I get their sangria every time I am here. The prices are so reasonable - 15 bucks for a pitcher and you can easily get 6 glasses out of it.
