First ChicagoROX Band Announced!!!

OK, I am so excited about this I have to sit on my hands to keep from clapping. Which makes it really hard to type. So you know I must be excited.
Anyway, a few weeks ago I was listening to this great band in a little dive bar and I couldn’t believe there were only 11 other people, including the bartender. It got me thinking - with about a gazilion bands and just about as many places to hear them how do you choose? Then I had one of those Aha! moments. (I think you could actually see the lightbulb above my head.)
Starting Monday, July 31 at 10am, a local band is going to be featured on The Local Tourist each week! When you visit the home page, click on the audio player to listen to the chosen song, then vote to keep it or chuck it. Every 4 weeks we’ll select a finalist based on your votes, and they’ll go onto the annual contest to be TLT’s Favorite Band. Each band will also have their own bio page, so you can learn more about them.
And our very first band is….ESCAPE FROM EARTH!!!!
