Slideshow: Tour de Fat

The Local Tourist's picture

New Belgium (brewer of Fat Tire) Beer's "Tour de Fat" literally rolled through Chicago today. It began with a bicycle parade and continued with concerts all afternoon in Palmer Square. This patch of green off Kedzie Avenue in Logan Square became the grounds for a carnival-like festival, complete with jugglers and funhouse mirrors. There was even a marching band, of sorts: Chicago's own Mucca Pazza entertained the crowd full of costumes and dreadlocks.

Despite the fact that this was located only two blocks from my home, I didn't get there until half an hour before it ended, but oh what a 30 minutes!
