Man Dies In Chicago Marathon
7 October 2007 Send To a FriendToday’s Chicago Marathon reached a record, but not the kind the runners were hoping for. The unseasonably warm temperatures exceeded any in the race’s history. Four hours into it officials shut it down and runners in the first half were diverted back to Grant Park. Unfortunately, Chad Scheiber, 35, of Michigan passed away after collapsing in the 18th mile.
