The Loop Gets A Movie Theater
31 October 2007 Send To a FriendThe Loop is home to the Theater District, but it’s been missing a movie theater. In Spring 2009, that should be remedied when luxury theater chain Muvico Theaters opens a location in the mall being built at Block 37 (the block between the Daley Center and Macy’s). It will feature plush seating and a full-service dining menu. The news comes as a bit of a surprise since Daley originally said no movie theaters, but the more upscale chain is appealing.
