GirlForward provides adolescent refugee girls with individual mentorship, educational programs and leadership opportunities, creating a community of support that serves as a resource and empowers girls to be strong, confident, and independent. GirlForward’s core programs – the Mentorship Program, Camp GirlForward, and Safe Spaces Project – serve refugee girls ages 12 to 21 who have been resettled in Chicago from war-torn countries around the world.

The event is open to those 21 and older, and will feature live music from local artists, including DePaul Women’s a Cappella, Dana Destefano & Dollparts, Mike Petruccelli, and The Flips. The event will also include a charity prize auction and a giving tree. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about GirlForward's programs and the impact they are making on the community and the lives of individual girls.

Tickets will cover unlimited Revolution house beer, non-alcoholic bevegrages, and appetizers. Attendees will have the option to purchase additional raffle tickets to win prizes and gift certificates for local merchants such as CorePower Yoga, the Chicago Cubs, and the Adler Planetarium. All proceeds directly benefit GirlForward and its programs.

GirlForward is still accepting donations for the charity prize raffle. For donation opportunities, or to find out more about how you can get involved, e-mail
